it appears the lhc@home has hijacked climateprediction.net on both of my machines. the work units are running properly but, in the project listing and in work tab the project name and stats are for lhc@home.

You may want to reset. I had the same thing happen, and after things were repaired, (projects showing correctly) I tried to return a S@H WU and got an error that it couldn't recognize the app. version. Therefore it wasn't able to return the result.

Rather than risking the remaining 100 hours on the WU I was processing only to find it would give me an error message like S@H, I reset. :(

Look at this post:

<a href="http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=877&amp;PHPSESSID=8840bbb83977d1664dff4698de029584">Yikes! Cross project Contamination... </a>

It appears that maybe LHC admins are not as experienced at tweaking their BOINC servers. Your best bet is probably checking out LHC's forums for possible solutions.

Hi
I have this problem as well.
It has only occured while the LHC site has access problems.
for some reason LHC starts downloading its project files into other project folders.

If exit BOINC
Delete the LHC project files and restart BOINC it seems to be OKay. Click update on all the project entries if they still say LHC.
Check the project folders a few hours later. If a dowload failed it will continue download and hijack the project. Just go through the above process again.

eventually it get cleaned out of the system.
