Hi All,

The main CPDN project will be taken offline tomorrow, Wednesday 29th May, at 15:30 (UK time). This is in order to perform an upgrade of backend server code. This offline period will last for up to a week. This is in order to allow time for a dump of the database to take place and sufficient time for rollback to take place (if necessary).

Best regards,

Andy

Hi,
I suppose the caerus server will be off - feeder, transitioner and cpdn_trickle?

Upload servers should not be affected, hence no need to limit network access?

Is there something we as users should do?

Cheers

just completed an upload so upload servers working at present. I had expected boards and servers to be down. I wonder if it has actually gone off line or not.
If I get a chance will check tomorrow when Andy will be in, depending on what I find doing a few other checks.

Edit: Upload may have completed but trickle not showing so I guess the servers for that are off line.

Hello, just taken a short break from a diy destruction day to order some materials on-line … Four completed tasks reported and one new task downloaded. :)

I think so. No problems posted when Andy announced the site was back up.

It looks like the project URL has changed and the links on the main page no longer work.

Looking at https://www.climateprediction.net/

The link to the "Message Boards" leads to:
http://climateapps2.oerc.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_index.php

Whereas they are actually on:
https://www.cpdn.org/cpdnboinc/forum_index.php

Similar issue with the log-in link.

Edit: Oh and https://www.cpdn.org shows the default Apache server page which should show the main homepage instead.

It also appears that the Stat's Export point that BOINCStat's and other statistic pages look at has been changed or affected.

Currently the Time update is 2019-05-29 09:16:39 UTC (14 days 04:00:49 old)

This normally updates daily regardless of Stat's Export which is usually a Sunday night event.

Reference URL is https://boincstats.com/en/stats/2/project/detail

Thanks
