How about doing some "Nuclear Winter Models"? I would </LOVE> to see how weather would change after the Tsar Bomba, which was/is created my Russian, on Washington D. C.; or even on Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama, USA.

The project doesn't decide which areas of climate to look at but provides a service allowing universities and researchers around the world to look at particular areas of the globe and their climate. If you know someone with the knowledge and backing of a university to support them doing a PhD on this I am sure the tasks could then be distributed by Oxford.
