Message 54776 - Posted: 13 Sep 2016, 4:17:16 UTC

Hello,

I run CPDN on 2 computers. On one computer I get credits but on the other computers - which is running 24hours - I don't get any credits at all. This is going on for several months now.

Before that everything has worked normally. I am not aware that I changed something.

Thanks in advance for your help

Sigi

Hi Sigi

If the computer with no credit is the Mac, then this is talked about in this thread.

There's no solution yet.

Yes, it is the Mac and thanks to the link. I will wait patiently but it is not a big issue for me. Whenever it will work again is fine.

Hi. I have recently run a lot of HADAM3 eu models, all of which have reported OK and showing up as completed but only some are showing credit. These are short runs - a few hours - and only produce 3 trckles. Any ideas?

Hi Alan,
the credit script now runs once a week around friday-saturday. All your models that finished around last thursday now have full credit rewarded. Wait few days and credit should be rewarded.

The last trickle for my last WU (wah2_eu25_9d3f_208912_13_403_010567433_1) was posted on 9/26. I seem to have all the credit for it awarded in CPDN but the last time I see credit in BOINCSTATS for CPDN was 9/24. Is this a BOINCSTAT issue or is the problem someplace else?

The last export file was created on 26/9.
The project people were notified some time ago.

Hi, the credit of my account on CP@H page is correct, however, the stats on BOINC Combined Stats is still the old one from more than two weeks ago, and all my credit related to CP@H on Free-DC disappears from time to time.

There's been some progress on this.
The script was looked at when I emailed, but nothing wrong could be found.
It's now been run manually, and will run again soon as a cron job to test it.

Our files are now there waiting for the external sites to pick up.

BOINCstats has picked up the new data.

Thanks for reporting the credit issue to the team. I too am getting frustrated at donating lots of CPU time to the project and seeing the credit score on my computer increase but not be reported to BOINC.

Not for me - BOINCstats show me at 587,571 yet my BOINC hosts show the credit at 612,689.

Hi Jim,

I think Les was referring to the update that BOINCstats and Free-DC picked up three weeks ago on 24 October. My stats haven't changed on those sites since then, either.

It sounds like the credit export script needs some encouragement... :-)

The pigeon hole for holding the data for the external stats sites currently says: 2016-11-15 13:36 (I'm guessing that the time is UTC)

Lets see if the external sites do something with this.

It looks like both BOINCstats and Free-DC picked up today's CPDN export.

Did the server upgrade break the credit script, or are they just busy? It has been 2 weeks now since it last ran.

The credit has been updated yesterday (3rd of December 2016), but the stats sites do not show it. All the tasks on my host page still show pending (also the old ones) so the script did not update those.

The update can take a while to show on stats sites, as it's up to them to get the data and put it on their sites.
The word "pending" is written into various places by the BOINC software, and isn't used by the project's custom written code, so the word "pending" will stay there forever.
