And when i joined CPDN five years ago i also turned off the graphics/screensaver as soon as i saw it pop up...and did the same for the Folding project...

Edit, despite a name and email change, I have been involved in CPDN since the start and before that in SETI

On Linux the graphics could only ever be reached by clicking on the graphics button and they used to have more useful information than the current graphics I have seen - useful for diagnostics if there were problems. Other than that I have never used the graphics but yes, if running models that have graphics it is worth making sure they are turned off when not being actively used.
