Hi there,
It seems no trickles are shown on the web since the system restart. My two Linux machines crunch and upload .zip-s successfully, and no errors appear in the log when sending trickles.

cheers

Yes, this has been reported to the project people, and will no doubt get fixed early next week.

The CPDN beta site is still completely unresponsive. I still have 26 zip files from 2 completed Wah2_afr tasks sitting in my transfer tab. There is no reason to run these tasks if we cant upload the results.

I don't think that there's been any actual testing there for months. It's just computers picking up old re-tries that have failed on other computers.
But the project people do know about the problem, and IT is working on it.
But not on the weekend.

Actually there may have been a few tasks sent to beta a few weeks ago, but I think that was for Windows (so I didn't participate), and also that results are already in.

There appears to be a mix: here is a recent one with trickles. Others of mine have no trickles or incomplete trickle records - there's evidently some catching up to do.

Looks like the same problem here: BOINC log shows zips uploaded but trickles absent on web. However the "Your computers" page shows "Last contact" within the last 2 hours. I guess there's a different function or server involved with "contact" vs. trickle uploads.

Any estimate when things will get back to "normal"?

I noticed that my RAC had dropped drastically so i checked out my 'tasks' page and it seems that my credit has disappeared for partially completed wus. I know i had credit for these wus before the server outage and i know that the trickles were uploaded, but now they're missing. I have multiple tasks running and trickles should have been uploaded already (in some cases i know they were uploaded) but my tasks page says i haven't even started them yet. I have no uploads pending in BOINC manager so they must have disappeared during the server maintenance.
For example:
task 19646396 is 61% done and shows only 2 trickles uploaded
http://climateapps2.oerc.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/result.php?resultid=19646396
task is 19747533 is 31% done and shows no trickles uploaded
http://climateapps2.oerc.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/result.php?resultid=19747533

The task directly above (19747533) should show at least 1 trickle because:
7/10/2016 8:05:33 PM | climateprediction.net | Finished upload of wah2_eu25_9ef5_209712_13_403_010569151_1_4.zip

Are others having the same problems or is it just me?

Yup, similar problems here. It's been going on for a while, like a week or two, but it will get straightened out eventually, it always has in the past. (In the last year or so anyway.) The BOINC logs on my computers show the work is being uploaded, which is the important part of volunteering for the project's research. I'm glad it's not my job to maintain the project servers, seems a bear to keep all the balls in the air all the time.

There are some comments about this in other threads. I am wondering if it is related to the recent database work?

Hi jrapdx

This may be slightly inaccurate.
The trickles were missing a week or two back, and then appeared "recently". Along with a BOINCstats update.
And they now seem to be missing again, in the last couple of days.

Ok, just making sure it wasn't an issue on my end.

Haven't checked all mine but the two tasks I did check are up to date so suspect they all are. :)

Yep, seems that my trickles are now posting. Still not seeing any partial credit though. And i have a fully completed HadAM3P task (link below) that shows no credit claimed or granted.

The credit script is only running once a week at the weekend now so some time on Sunday you should see credit.
