On an Win2K computer the GUI shows the cloud screeens ok but the one with the temperature (and the one with pressure) doesn\'t display results (small squares of colors) but instead it shows a gray globe.

How do I fix this?

Patrice:

Hopefully I can suggest a couple things, otherwise might have to wait for one of the Core Team members. Is your PC running the latest drivers? Is the colour displayed on the scale to the right?

Another possibility could be that your model has crashed, have you tried suspending Boinc, exiting and re-booting? Depending on what is happening this could help.

You could also try looking through the "Climateprediction.net discussion forum" for others with similar problems, though I don't remember seeing anything on this one. The climateprediction members have been using this other MB for over a year and it contains a wealth of information. There are some discussions ongoing about having 2 boards.

Hope you get your prob solved soon.

I've seen a gray/silver on the temp view occasionally, when I "catch the viz" when it is locked out from the shared memory due to the model writing, but it should be pretty rare. Plus when the next timestep is hit the viz should update and "colorize." Can you hit the "T" and "P" and "R" keys to see if the views come back? It is most likely an OpenGL driver issue, usually updated drivers for your card help from what I've seen in the past.
