I have rejoined CPN after a long hiatus, since I now have a new(er) more powerful computer capable of handling multiple projects. But for some reason, my BOINC manager isn't d/l any WU from here.

Almost all of my current BOINC disk usage (15.95 MB) is used by SETI (15.22 MB) and only a tiny amount is currently used by CPN (154.35 KB) and it apparently doesn't include any CPN Work Units.

Also, I'm not sure where to find something like a "server status" page so I can see if I should even expect to d/l any WU just now.

Thanks for your support.

The short answer is that CPDN has no work at this time, and no one is sure when there will be more. There is talk of a coming Boinc upgrade and after that there will be new work, but, nobody seems to know when that will be.

Read the Project has no tasks available thread for a more complete answer. The server status page can be found by clicking on the server status link in the blue area to the left of this page.

It is perhaps worth reiterating that the numbers reported on the server status page are queue lengths. In other words they show the imbalance between machines able to do work and work available to be done. Over ten thousand of the longer HADCM3N units were released recently without the queue length ever exceeding about 40 on my visits to the status page, indicating that there are many more machines available currently than work units. The HADCM3N one of my machines collected came from an apparently empty queue.

So, don't give up hope. However, as long as work is short you may need to follow the message boards to find out what is actually going on.

My machine has been crunching a CM3 model for quite some time now. But it took a bit of luck to get it. Since you've been gone a while, be sure to set your climateprediction.net preferences, and select which model(s) you want to run.
