Finally there is HADAM3P EU units available, but it seems impossible to get any assigned. I have 4 CPUs and only 2 tasks running. but I am still not getting any.
Every time I request work, I get the same message: Last request too recent...
Waiting One Hour is not enough, and each time I try, I am thrown to the back of the queue, and have to wait all over again. Before I get through, all units are gone.
WHY are You doing this?

I think that the request time you have to wait is 24 hours. This was done to help share work out equally and not let those with fast multiprocessor machines hog all the credit.

The reason is as Dave says, but it's a one hour backoff.
It's been mentioned in several threads, including the News and Announcements thread at the top of Number crunching.

The best cure is Don't fiddle! (i.e. Constantly pressing Update.) Just let BOINC ask for work once per hour. If it wants/needs more work! (You ARE running several projects, so it may NOT want more.)

If you want to ensure the best chance of getting more work, set your cache to the maximum of 10 days. Then BOINC will start asking for more work before finishing what it already has.

Don't fiddle -- best advice --
Most problems here -- and it's been almost a decade for me -- most problems with downloads not happening clear up fairly soon
My host that wouldn't download just now started reporting " not enough disk space" -- so I'm working on that -- sometimes it takes a while to figure out what is stopping download, could be server, could be client options -- many possibilities.
Patience is a virtue.
If the problem lasts more than a day or so -- Check your Prefs -- I've had some wierd ones with the Global-local-override file

You seem to be running several other projects along with CPDN. Has Boinc been running CDPN in high priority mode. It will do that if it thinks that you are is going to miss the deadline. If so it may have built up a large time debt to the other projects that you are running and Boinc won?t download new work till that debt is paid off.

Thanks for the Advice :)

Last week when SETI stopped sending work, I tried a few other places, just to see if any work was in fact available.

I only got tasks from HAL@Home and Malaria.

These Tasks has finished and I have detatched from all but LHC and Climateprediction.

After I have started this thread, I have got work.

All the best to You.

ChrisD
