Hi there,

I have been having an issue downloading climate models, they all fail with checksum errors. watching the transfer tab in boinc the downloads just seem to stop when only partially downloaded.I do not have problems downloading any data form any other boinc project


-I have given boinc access to my firewall
-added port 31416 into my router
-the router also had port 443 added for Boinc by itself
-I have created a cc_config file to set HTTP to 1.0

I have a 30Mbit cable connection coming to a billion 7800n router via its ewan port.

Im not sure what to do to fix the problem, if anyone could assist i would be grateful.

The MD5 checksum error is a problem with the files when they were created at Oxford.

I too have just had a spate of checksum errors this morning (UK time). All were on HADAM3P_EU models. A PNW model came OK.

The problem is apparently only with the EU models; PNW and SAF are OK.
This is being fixed.

In the meantime, the EU models have been deprecated, so people will have to set their prefs to allow the other 2 types to download.
