My MacBookPro (Intel) running BOINC with OSX10.5.8 is 41% on v 6.05 through an HADAM3P Eu task, but according to the Applications page HADAM3P tasks are not available for Mac Intel!!!

Is that page not up-to-date by a week or more, or has something gone astray?

On 17 November CPDN launched a new initiative to attract new members called WeatherAtHome. Read about it in the News thread at the top of this Number crunching section.

The decision was taken by the researchers that along with this launch CPDN would only offer the three regional models for Windows at least for the time being. I know this is a real nuisance for Linux and Mac users and I'm hoping that the regionals will be made available again for you later. Before this happens I think that new Linux and Mac regional versions will need to be compiled and tested in the Beta project first.

You still have a choice of FAMOUS and HadCM on CPDN. The latter is much longer but urgently required by the researchers on the Geoengineering project at Carnegie-Mellon University.

Oops, I see from the Server Status page that all the HadCM that were available for all platforms have been grabbed. We'll have to see whether Milo's going to make more.

I've not got any orders to do more HadCM3L at the moment, although there are plenty of FAMOUS models left for now.
