Good evening to everyone! I have just signed in the climate prediction.net, and I would like to take part to the Seasonal Attribution Experiment.

Although, I downloaded BOINC I don\'t Know whether I\'m taking part to the experiment or not, because the server keeps sending the message \"No work sent\".

Is there a specific step that I must make or a specific team that i must join?

Please I would be grateful if anyone could help me out!!!
Thank you in advance

Hi, Marine Andy:

Welcome to the project. Unfortunately, I don’t think that the Seasonal Attribution model is presently available. The only model types available at this time are the 45 year Hadsm3 (slab model) and the 2 year Hadam3P. The Hadam3p us very similar to the Seasonal Attribution, but, doesn’t take as much Ram to run.

You can change your preferences to download one (or more) of these models by clicking on “your account” tab on the left side of the boinc manager and then clicking on the “your account” tab (again) in the blue area on the left side “Account for Marine Andy” page. Scroll down and you can check mark one or both of the Hadam3p and Hadsm3 models.

P.S.

I forgot to tell you that on the “Your Account Data for Marine Andy” page you have to click on the “resource share and graphic” tab to see the models

The Seasonal Attribution Project closed at the end of 2007.
It was a PhD project by Pardeep Pall. The research paper has been written, and the researcher has moved on to working in Europe.
The models used were the HadAM3-N144 climate model.

Since then, the SAP is being continued on this main cpdn site, with the hadam3p models. So, by running these, you are in effect, doing the same work as was done on the Seasonal Attribution Project.
