I have suspended Rosetta and SETI on the projects tab and Climate won\'t get new tasks. Network activity is suspended.

I then resumed the Climate units, starting with the one that worked for awhile. This first one is incrementing \"time to complete\" at about two seconds for each second of elapsed time and progress does not change. The others are resumed and running but only increment the elapsed time. The CUDA is suspended. Task manager says none are running.

When I downloaded BOINC 6.10.18 I did not get to the page that I needed. I went here: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download.php

I needed to go here: http://boinc.berkeley.edu/download_all.php

And so I downloaded the 32-bit version for the XP 32-bit computer and also installed it on my 64-bit computer.

My sincere and humble apologies. I have downloaded and installed the 64-bit version of BOINC 6.10.18 which looks and feels the same as the 32-bit version but is running all the projects just fine, thank you very much. I have taken your valuable time for an idiots mistake. Thank you all. Mea culpa.

Don\'t berate yourself too much. This 32 bit/64 bit business has happened to a lot of people. I must confess to not thinking of that this time around.
I glad that you\'ve worked it out, though, because I was out of ideas. Short of having a few minutes alone with the computer and a big hammer.

It\'s far better to post and discuss a problem as you did rather than racking one\'s brain alone or just not thinking about it as happens in many cases.

Hope that solves the mystery, Charles.

It goes beyond running 32bit BOINC on a 64bit computer. I do that all the time in Linux and Windows without problems. So something else was going on. Perhaps installing the new version overwrote some troublesome file? Anyway, glad you got it going.
