G'day Richard,

From my understanding it is every 10,802 timesteps, but it may not recognise them until you do a project update.

Paul.

boinc should upload a trickle as soon as it's created if you are online. However if it doesn't send (i.e. you're offline, have disabled boinc network access, or some other reason boinc thinks you're offline), trickles can "accumulate" and you will eventually see them appear on the server, grant credit etc, i.e. a "missed trickle" isn't a "fatal error."

Interesting point...my comp reported back to base at exactly 21604 timesteps, but a couple of minutes later it still hadn't showed up on the web site. I even did a project update, but nope. I wonder how long it takes to show up on the web site? Is this the time lag you were talking about?

Live long and crunch!
