Ubuntu 32-bit version 8.01; running on a homebrew system, Privoxy seems to load from the command line, at least no errors. Then runing tork from command line shows that tork is halting and only the first band in the GUI is working. When clicking on the \"start\" button, messages come to the screen telling me of bad config file; unable to continue. I\'ve changed port numbers, made sure that the appropriate files were present; ownership changed to favor user. I need some advice .. I have 6 pc\'s in my workshop and my plan is to hook them up as 24/7 boinc servers. I have loads of b/w TIA Dave |

When clicking on the \"start\" button, messages come to the screen telling me of bad config file; unable to continue. I\'ve changed port numbers, made sure that the appropriate files were present; ownership changed to favor user. Are you still talking about tork at this point, or BOINC? Also, have you looked at the README files (link in my sig below), in particular Explanation of all 4 suspend options (all users) which is under Running the Model in the 2nd README file (Running the Model) It leads to this page \"Suspending the model\", and explains all of the possible ways this can happen/be done. For those reading this who may be unaware, privoxy is some kind of proxy, and tork is some kind of software that hides/disguises your presence online. I\'m not sure of your problem with boinc, but if it\'s a proxy problem, then there might be some useful advice in the Network problems section of the readme\'s http://www.climateprediction.net/board/viewtopic.php?t=5896 |
