I have been running the classic CPDN version on a couple of machines for more than one year now, and I haven\'t managed to find a clear answer to this question anywhere : is it possible to retrieve stats from the classical experiment to BOINC ? I mean, is there a way to convert all the computing time used for the classic CPDN to the credits used by BOINC ?
Since CPDN had detailled stats, it should be easy to convert them and to reintegrate them into BOINC, and it would be cool not to start from the last rank when you have processed already a lot of data.

Hi, Vorty,

The stats are carried forward into your account for historical reference -- but not integrated into BOINC credit system. Sorry. (AFAIK, this is the same policy as with Classic SETI credits.)

Check your account page. If you use the same username/email address in BOINC as in CPDN Classic, the stats should be there after the first 4-hourly update cycle.

HTH.

Ok, I have found the place where to specify the former CPDN account. At least there's the possibility to give a link to the former stats so it's not that bad.

Thank you very much for your answer !

Where is this link? Does it appear immediately after entering former username? Thanks.

I edited in my username there weeks ago. I still haven't seen any classic run info on the BOINC your account page.
