Last week I\'ve just finished a long WU that ran for almost a year. Now I have allowed it to download another WU, and this one is quite different. The application is called \'UK Met Office HadSM3 Slab Model 5.06\' (hadsm3fub_03l1_005930898_2). It appears to run from 1810~2050, and it seems to run quite fast. After 4 days of running it has already completed 12.5%. However, when looking at the current processing year, I see that we are only in the middle of 1816 - that is hardly 12%! Is it BOINC that is so completely off estimating the completion percentage? Or will it just get faster and faster towards the end...? Just curious... |

Well, it\'s not exactly obvious from the post title. It\'s come up a few times in the last few months, and I\'m wondering if a \'sticky\' is in order. Still, as long as I can find one of my replies ..... |
