I\'m trying to setup BOINC with climateprediction on my linux web server (Ubuntu 6.06 LTS). Everything seemed to work ok until it completed downloading my first climate project. Now I\'m getting spammed with Resuming CPDN! over and over again. Someone suggested trying to set boinc_cmd --set_run_mode always but it\'s still doing it. Any idea what\'s causing this? My web server is a headless system that I connect in through SSH, so the GUI client is not an option. |

Are you using CPU throttling (i.e., the \'use at most xxx% of CPU time\')? If so, set it back to 100% and it should be OK. I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. News and Announcements and FAQ |

Looks like that was it. Still new to this and playing with settings. Thanks! |

Incidentally, if you\'re getting messages on your console, I\'d recommend piping both stdout and stderr to files. You can then tail them if you get any issues. I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. News and Announcements and FAQ |
