I am running on Pentium 4, Windows 2000 fully patched, with BOINC 5.10.13, and climateprediction Slab Model 5.06.

I have been running Seti and Einstein for over a year on this machine with no problem. I recently added climateprediction.

I noted that when I leave the screen saver running over the weekend with a fresh re-boot Friday afternoon, my used memory goes from .5 GByte to over 3 GByte by Monday morning with no new applications added over the weekend, and no extra processes showing up in the task list with the extra memory.

I turned off the screen saver, and I note that every day that the machine runs, it adds about 100 MByte to the used memory.

Make sure you haven\'t accidentally set the screensaver to record the display by pressing ctrl+Q. If you have when you look at the graphics above the info text about timesteps etc it will say recording... You can switch it off by pressing ctrl+Q again and the message (and the accumulation of used memory) will disappear.
