Noob here... Everything goes well except I \"client error\" and Boinc is unable to receive whatever work my computer has done. Anyone know what\'s going on or how I can fix the problem? FYI I\'m logged on with SETI too on their latest version of BOINC.

Hi Dave,

Are you getting a Fortran runtime error?

If so check out this thread on the phpBB forum.

It seems that a corrupted file has got into a load of workunits, but there is a work around :)

Thanks to sjokela for doing the investigative work and UK_Nick for providing a link to the file that fixes the problem.

No, I'm not getting a runtime error... When I check my account stats, under the outcome column, most of my stuff is listed as "client error". Under the server state column, I get "inactive" or "over" and under the client state column, I get "downloaded". Except for one work unit, it doesn't seem like I'm returning any results. I just don't know what's going on. I want my computer to work for everyone, but I don't know if it is working properly. I hope that you or someone would be able to explain what's going on and if there's anything I'm doing wrong. Thanks for your help...
