It just means that you\'re taking an awful long time to finish the model, and have gone past the 1 year deadline.
But, as this project ignores the deadline, it doesn\'t matter, except that from now on you\'ll keep getting the message.

You \"appear\" to have 5 models running, according to your Account page, and if this so, and several haven\'t just been abandoned, this may explain the slowness, as each will run for an hour or so in turn.

This is your list of models.
The ones in green are the ones that the server thinks are still running.

If you only have 1 listed in \"Tasks\", then the others have been abandoned somehow without the server knowing about it, so you don\'t need to worry.

There appears to be a problem with your system time. The timestamp in your message log lists a date in 2008, as far as I know it is still 2007 in the real world. Fixing your time may stop this message.

Alan, as well as fixing the time, you need to highlight cpdn and click the No new tasks button in boinc manager. This will stop you getting lots of unwanted models which you\'re then having to abort. When you need to suspend the model, do this through the boinc Activity menu.

It would be worth having a look at the project READMEs. Get to them through my sig link. I\'d recommend the top tips in Running the model, plus item #5 by Mike in the README about avoiding model crashes. And in the same crashes README, item #1 by Les. He explains how to back up the contents of the boinc folder so that if you do have another model crash, you can restore the backup and continue crunching the same model.

Adding to this, make sure you exit BOINC before you change your system time as else you\'ll get a lot of error messages in Boinc Manager. Only restart BOINC after you changed your system time/date back to 2007.

Missed that. :(
Rather obvious too.

Sorry Alan, It\'s not something that one expects.
You may see different messages once you set the time backwards. BOINC is a bit weird about that.

I recently wrote a post in the Cafe CPDN / Milestones thread that claimed I started Boinc in 1996 rather than 2006 ... It was only when someone pointed out to me that I was a decade out that I noticed :-)
