I\'ve got a work unit that\'s nearing completion (2076).
However, I\'m concerned that it will not be able to send its results to the server, because whenever it tries I get the following messages. It then carries on regardless.

2007-04-03 11:52:21 [climateprediction.net] Sending scheduler request to http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi
2007-04-03 11:52:21 [climateprediction.net] Reason: To report results
2007-04-03 11:52:21 [climateprediction.net] Reporting 2 results
2007-04-03 11:54:01 [climateprediction.net] Scheduler request to http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi succeeded
2007-04-03 11:54:01 [climateprediction.net] Message from server: Can\'t find host record Invalid or missing account key. Visit this project\'s web site to get an account key.

Any suggestions? Should I change anything? Or sit back and hope for the best?

Cheers

Sounds like you\'ve got a corrupt or missing account file Tim.

In your BOINC directory you should find the files account_climateprediction.net.xml and sched_request_climateprediction.net.xml and they should normally have the same value for the <authenticator> tag.

If that\'s the problem the only way to sort it out would be to restore the account file from backup (or copy it from another system connected to your account).

Excellent advice. Thanks.

It was the sched_request_climateprediction.net.xml file, which had picked up the wrong hostid.
