Message says that model is running but the CPU time did not increment over 5 hours.

Hi Phillip, welcome to the forum.

Could you first please tell us which of your 3 computers the two models are on?

I just chased it down, Mo, spending a lot more time than necessary. If only...

No error listed for that Model.

What message, where?
Was the Model suspended?
Anything in Manager\'s Messages to give us a clue?
Do you have other Projects running that might have preempted CPDN?

[Edit: Machine ID#550688]
[Edit2: This is not a science question.]

Answers.
You are probably aware that the machine in question is labelled \"mediacentre\"
1. I am not aware that there was any message - I do look most days. It just said running, but the simple \"timer\" screen wasn\'t adding the seconds as usual, and when I looked at the advanced screen, the CPU time wasn\'t incrementing. It was declaring the model running though.
2. I am not aware that the model was suspended this afternoon when I found that, by suspending it manually, I could kick of the second model that had been sitting waiting to start. That is now runnining appparently fine.
3. I am only running climate prediction models.

Hope this is of help. My principle aim is not to waste anything that might be of use.

What message, where?
refers to the line in your first post:
Message says that model is running but the CPU time did not increment over 5 hours.

In these BOINC projects, \"message\" means those in the Messages tab, or in one of the archive files: stdoutdae.tx and stderrout.txt, both of which are in the BOINC folder.

No, we didn\'t know the \"name\" of your computer. Only you can see that, and other \'sensitive\' information. What\'s needed to identify the computers, is the computer ID.
And, getting in before it\'s too late, please do NOT post your email address anywhere here. That\'s how spammers get hold of it.

The correct place to suspend the project, is in the menu.
As you\'ve found out, using Suspend in the Tasks tab will let any other model there start running. And if there aren\'t any, BOINC will download one.

Getting the original model running correctly may have been as simple as rebooting the computer. AFTER clicking on Exit in the Manager\'s menu.

There are lots of hints, tips, and advice here in the 4 READMEs on the php forum.
