Hello everyone, I\'ve beeb running for approx 24hrs. Hovering cursor over BOINC manager taskbar icon shows 0.24% but the STATS page is not showing todays date 31/jan/07 ?
If this means I\'m wasting time i that no useful results will be sent to you then I need to know so I can turn climateprediction off ?
OR is it that I need to tell it to update somehow?
I have a permanent internet connection [except when we run out of elec being on a pay as you go key service.

The reports are every approximately .66%. So .24% you have a ways to go.

To add a bit to Pooh Bear\'s post:
Data is sent back once a year, on 4th December. (The models start in December.)
This is included in \"trickle\" files, which are also used to allocate credit.

It\'s a long, slow, process.
Hints, tips, and suggestions for keeping your model healthy in the 4 README files here.

Ian, hope you\'re seeing some progress now. Just noticed you mentioned running out of electricity. If that\'s likely to happen much, I would suggest it\'s even more important than usual that you make regular backups, otherwise you can lose a lot of work (or even your whole model!) when the power goes off.

Good luck!
