In the 4th line in the messages below it says that the pc has 2 processors (correct) and the benchmarks at the end tells me the PC has only 1 processor.

I updated my general preferences in my account but don\'t know what to further to correct this.

In your preferences, is the machine set to use at most one CPU on multi-CPU machines? If so, that\'ll account for it.

Thanks, no, I have put the value \"On multiprocessors, use at most\" at 2 on the \"your account\" page and updated the project now more than a dozen times.

I want that second cpu to work on a project but still I get the message
\"Note: not requesting new work or reporting results\".
The 3rd button on the project tabsheet shows \"no new work\" so I guess the client should fetch new work. But if the benchmark only finds one cpu, I guess the client is not going to ask the server for more.

There is a problem with the prefs not updating back to the user\'s computers.
This will not get fixed until the next server software update.

This is talked about, along with a \'local\' fix, here in the Preferences section.
