Hi,

I recently made a backup of a CPDN workunit in order to change the operation system (Linux -> Linux). It seems, though, that I forgot to copy the client_state.xml file and now can\'t run the model. I\'ve already invested some 200 hours in it, so is there any way to make a new clientstate file?
Any help would be much appreciated :-)

Regards,
Kenneth

The backup needs to be of the entire c:\\program files\\boinc hierarchy since some of the files are spread around here and there. I think client_state.xml will only be one of many ...

Is the original still intact, or was it on a formatted disk?

It was on a formatted and repartitioned disc.
The problem in Linux is that the files are indeed seperated in different folders, so I lack the clientstate of probably a few other xml files as well, I\'m not sure which.

Anyway, if I can\'t save it, I\'ll just trash it.
