Hello, Funny problem I have: No points since 23.11. 3 different computers. 2 with 5.4.11 and one with 7.5 (or something like that – the newest one). Messages on PC1: Task hadcm3ohc_176r_05604330_0 exited with zero status but no ‘finished’ file If this happens repeatedly you may need to reset the project. Rescheduling CPU: application exited ….. Message on PC2: Sending scheduler request to http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi Reason: To send trickle-up message (not requesting new work or reporting completed tasks) Scheduler request succeeded Message from server: Incomplete request received. Started upload of file handcm3ohc_0ewr_05567682_1_1.zip ……. PC3 don’t report either. ON PC1 I once restarted the project. Differences before and after working: 1. global_prefs_override.xml on PC1 and then removed. 2. To my 3rd PC I donloaded the newst alpha version PC3 3. I registered myself to BAM! Now I’m out from it. First off, the trickle server was having issues since approximately 23.11. Yesterday that was fixed, and credits were given for those that were missed. Credits on this project are not instantaneous. They are calculated about once a day. I looked at all 3 PCs on your account, and so far everything looks fine, except PC3 which has not sent back any trickles. You have had the WUs long enough to have sent back things. So, something is weird on that one machine, and you may need to do some investigating. |

Regarding the \'Zero status but no finished file\' message, in the Solutions to models crashing README, links #3 and #4 deal with this. http://bbc.cpdn.org/forum_thread.php?id=4815 Cpdn news |

Ok, Thank you. You were totally correct, it was the server side. I’m trying to find a solution to ‘zero status’ next. It seems my PC3 is not up to task to deliver results as it will overheat or if I put the throttling on 50% it is just too slow. |

What sort of PC is it, is it a laptop or \'shuttle\'? On many PCs overheating problems can be solved by installing a £3.50 - £7.50 ballbearing fan, but on cases with limited space this can be difficult. I'm a volunteer and my views are my own. News and Announcements and FAQ |
