If you look at http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/show_user.php?userid=150

You can see he does not particularly fast computers but they are computing SUPER fast - like 10x what they usually do. How is that possible?

Well, you asked this in a Windows Q&A, meaning you run Windows? All this user is running is Linux.

Your computers are hidden, so we can not compare anything.

Are you using the screen saver? I be betting this person is not.

Actually they\'re running at normal speed, it\'s just that they\'ve been running offline and dumped a whole load of trickles onto the server at the same time. (If you notice the seconds per timestamp s/ts, and also the CPU time figure, you\'ll see they\'re both normal).

Quite a few people do this when they have limited network connectivity, or alternatively PCs which are running disconnected from the internet.
