In the Projects tab, click on the project name to highlight it.
Click No new work (or tasks, depending on BOINC version).
In the Work Tab, (or Tasks tab), click on the model name to highlight it.
Click Abort

BOINC should now contact the server to tell it the model has been killed. If not, in the Projects tab, click Update

In the Menu, click Exit.
Use Windows Add or Remove programs to locate BOINC, and delete it.
Delete the BOINC folder.
