This is the message I\'m getting now:

4/29/2006 6:50:03 PM|climateprediction.net|Sending scheduler request to http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi
4/29/2006 6:50:03 PM|climateprediction.net|Reason: To send trickle-up message
4/29/2006 6:50:03 PM|climateprediction.net|(not requesting new work or reporting completed tasks)
4/29/2006 6:50:08 PM|climateprediction.net|Scheduler request to http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi succeeded
4/29/2006 6:50:08 PM|climateprediction.net|You are using the wrong URL for this project
4/29/2006 6:50:08 PM|climateprediction.net|The correct URL is http://climateprediction.net/
4/29/2006 6:50:08 PM|climateprediction.net|Detach this project, then reattach to http://climateprediction.net/

However, and several things.

- I did connect to climateprediction.net when I first connected

- This is not a new, never before been received WU, as can be seen here. It successfully trickled in several times

http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/graph_cm3.php?resultid=5106979

- I sure as hell don\'t want to detach or do anything that would force a reset, or cause me to lose this unit I was successfully crunching and trickling in on thus far, without incident...

HELP!!!!

I think that this was posted as occuring with \'test\' versions of BOINC, possibly 5.4.*
Best advice that I can think of is:
Backup
Turn off \'net access
Don\'t disconnect or reset
Wait for a cure

Yes, I do have a test 5.4.x version, because I\'m also a cruncher on RALPH (Rosseta Alpha), and while we were trying to to resolve problems with the Rosseta beta app, Rom Walton specifically asked us to upgrade, and then apply another debugger to our computer, as he needed info that the debugger for 5.2.13 will not report back to the project...

Anyhow, after looking at another thread, where some suggested a restart on BOINC helped them (something about cacheing user pages having caused this I gather?), I tried restarting though am at December 25 in the model year, so it didn\'t try to trickle again...

I can\'t exactly leave it long without network access, but didn\'t disconnect either (as it suggested), given it was trickling fine before on this unit.

thx, and best hopes on all returning to normal soon...

The Boinc developers are changing the error message to make it clearer that there\'s no hurry to change the URL.

I got this on my previous trickle and I got the same on my last trickle.

Both received fine by the server so no problems with that.

I\'m just going to leave it until the model\'s finished.

As a followup, there is an explanation and fix here, which already needs an update, so please wait a little while. Presumably there will be a message there when it IS OK to use.
