My BOINC 5.2.13 periodically shoots up a balloon from the system tray with a Network Status message asking for a connection to the internet, when I already have a continuous connection, and BOINC uses it without interruption. Does anyone know how to stop this message. Thanks.

To fix this, go into Options, Options, Connections and change to Use Local Area Networking. This will stop that balloon.
