Not downloading work (no work available for platform)

Created an account, downloaded and installed the lib files for my mac, attached successfully in Boinc manager but every time I try to download some work I get a message saying \'No work available. Work is available for other platforms\' Is this usual or have I done something wrong? Any advice would be a great help. Thanks ID: 21520 · Reply Quote

But Mac could run the sulphur experiment, which is still current, and I have not seen anything from the team on whether they will be generating new WUs for Mac users there. It\'s worth remaining attached and to keep an eye on the boards for an announcement. The devs are overstretched as always, and lack of response should not be taken negatively. Or does one have do change one\'s profile? (I sound like Cobalt. I\'ve been running SETI and Einstein, I got a G5, and now I\'d like to run some CPDN WU\'s. However, I can\'t get a WU. But I think that the supply of data sets for the Mac model has been allowed to run down. Some of the few people running Macs have posted on the Mac board that their models kept crashing. The Mac software is still on the downloads page, but the technical requirements has been removed from the Tech_faq page. Not much else I can say, except: perhaps in the future.
