I have two \"B\" on my task bar which seem to be the same project. How do I get rid of one please.

Check your startup group and see if there are 2 links to BOINC there. If you are using fast user switching try setting up as a service instead of a shared install.

I have had this happen occasionally, usually because of manually starting a second copy of the boincmanager. If this is the cause, you can safely right-click on the \'B\' icon, and select exit.
