Start BOINC look under help, about Boinc. Did you download this version from the BBC website? If so I believe it will not work with CPDN applications.

Version 5.3.19 might not be the problem, but error 1073741819 has been affecting a few people. It is a Windows error indicating a system conflict, but is non specific and seems to have had various causes. Solutions that seem to have worked for some people include updating graphics divers, Windows update (choose the custom option), booting into safe mode if it is happening on download, or just reattaching and even a restart.

david, I have found exactly the same problem. I do not understand the answers posted already. Looks like a climateprediction.net problem to me?

David
The daily quota is to stop computers having problems, from continually downloading data sets and then crashing them.
Before it was introduced, some computers had gone through several hundred in a few hours, especially in the days of BOINC 4.13, which had a problem.

What needs to be done now, is to find out why your models have crashed, and fix the problem. Otherwise it will just keep on happening.

And the problem with all 3 of your models, is error -1073741819.
This has been occuring for months, and hasn\'t been pinned down to any one thing.
It seems to be a conflict between cpdn\'s program, and something of Microsoft\'s.
It\'s not even certain if it\'s one of their programs, or their operating system.

Some people have \'fixed\' the problem by making sure that their graphics card has the latest drivers, but lots of others have never managed to find a cure.
It may be something to do with the way that ATI graphics card hardware/software works, which seems to be the one used by a lot of people getting the error.

And there are those computers, for reasons unknown, which just plain refuse to work with the programs used in this project.

I\'m sorry to be such a wet blanket, but those are the realities of the situation.
