Shouldn\'t the library listed in the FAQ under \'Running BOINC Core Client on Mac OSX\' be linked from the download page? It seems this library is needed and very hard to find. Without it, CPDN doesn\'t work under OS X and gives no comprehensible error.

Wow. I don\'t understand why I didn\'t see that before. But I think I\'m not the only one to miss it, judging from the posts for help from OS X users. It\'s clearly my mistake, but I think the situation could be improved by having the link visually part of the table, and/or looking like a link, rather than the bold red. I see that the bold red is there for emphasis, to make sure people see it. But it doesn\'t look like other links on the page, which I think may be why my eye jumped past it.

I think that a lot of people \"come in\" via SETI, and just attach using BOINC, without looking at this web site. So they don\'t know about special requirements mentioned anywhere here.
Or about the LARGE file sizes, and the LONG processing times.

We just have to hope that anyone with a problem posts with a question as you did, and not with a rant and a GOODBYE! Which has happened a few times. Sigh.

Good luck with the crunching.
