According to the stats page the BOINC client running on my machine (v 5.2.13), I have not received a single credit for the last 19 days.

BOINC and ClimatePrediction are working fine; trickle messages get through; and the work unit advances, but my credit remains static.

I stopped ClimatePrediction, restarted it, manually updated, and even reset the project.

Still no credit whatsoever.

It appears, that you have zero WUs running since DEC.

What may have happened...
(from conjecture based on experience)

If you\'re speaking of ResultID 1271588 then the 17th trickle came on December 30th. What may have happened is some hard reboot, power outage, or some other strange calamity occurred on Dec 30th or 31st and the WU timestep was reset to step 1 of phase 1. In most cases, the CPU time is not reset so you would then have a rather large s/TS on your graphic display. It would continue to trickle, but since the first 17 trickles for that WU were already counted, they wouldn\'t be listed again, and you wouldn\'t gain credit again until the 18th trickle.

But looking at that ResultID, the reset you did should have resulted in an outcome of Error, which it did not.

With your new WU/ResultID, has the boincmanager listed a trickle up yet? How many timesteps into the new WU are you?

I don\'t know if / how many trickles have been sent (I shut down BOINC from time to time and it doesn\'t save the messages from one session to the next).

I\'m on timestep 4051 of 259548 of WU sulphur_ik4m_100865894_0 (Phase 1 of 5)

There is a continuous list of messages in stdoutdae.txt, which is in the BOINC folder.

I\'m on timestep 4051 of 259548 of WU sulphur_ik4m_100865894_0 (Phase 1 of 5)

It should give a trickle message at 10802 timesteps into the phase (and every TS divisible by 10802 after that, i.e. 21604, etc.).

It may be a little while before I reach that point. After I reset the project and downloaded a new WU, it failed last night with the following error:

21/01/2006 6:33:08 AM|climateprediction.net|Unrecoverable error for result sulphur_ik4m_100865894_0 (<file_xfer_error> <file_name>sulphur_ik4m_100865894_0_1.zip</file_name> <error_code>-161</error_code> <error_message></error_message></file_xfer_error><file_xfer_error> <file_name>sulphur_ik4m_100865894_0_2.zip</file_name> <error_code>-161</error_code> <error_message></error_message></file_xfer_error><file_xfer_error> <file_name>sulphur_ik4m_100865894_0_3.zip</file_name> <error_code>-161</error_code> <error_message></error_message></file_xfer_error><file_xfer_error> <file_name>sulphur_ik4m_100865894_0_4.zip</file_name> <error_code>-161</error_code> <error_message></error_message></file_xfer_error><file_xfer_error> <file_name>sulphur_ik4m_100865894_0_5.zip</file_name> <error_code>-161</error_code> <error_message></error_message></file_xfer_error>)

I\'ve downloaded another new WU, so hopefully it will keep ticking...

The new work unit sent its first trickle:

25/01/2006 1:20:16 AM|climateprediction.net|Reason: To send trickle-up message
25/01/2006 1:20:16 AM|climateprediction.net|Note: not requesting new work or reporting results
25/01/2006 1:20:21 AM|climateprediction.net|Scheduler request to http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc_cgi/cgi succeeded
25/01/2006 1:25:58 AM|climateprediction.net|Pausing result sulphur_iohj_100871543_0 (left in memory)

...still no credit and no statistical update. BOINC Manager shows my total credit as steady at 27362.82 for the last 24 days.

Looks like we\'re back in business... As of 12:15 a.m 26/01/2006 ClimatePrediction.net has jumped to a credit total of 27523.50.

Thanks for all of your assitance (and patience).
