model stops after hibernating

hi, i massively use the windows xp feature that the computer writes the whole content of the RAM on the hdd and than shuts down. the next start of the system only takes a few seconds than, and you can continue your work from where you stopped before. i think its called hibernating in english (ruhezustand in german). the problem is that after starting a hibernated system, the cpdn model stops working, that means it stopps taking cpu load and the ts do not increse i dont know if this is a boinc or a special cpdn boinc problem, but it would be nice if this could be fixed. greez Scorp |

The fix is to set your pc not to hibernate ;) |

@martin smith: this is a solution, but no fix ;) as i said i regulary hibernate my pc and so i often forget to restart boinc... @peconfig: which os do you use, i have winxp sp2, but the same error exsisted under sp1 |

Seen this once as well on LHC so maybe it is not just the CPDN client that is too sensitive. Haven't been able to reproduce it though. |
