Hi

For a some days my work was ready to 100% and now there is no text in my Boinc work part. I wonder if my work has been sent to climateprediction.net and were I can find what has happen with my work? For the moment there is no work going on. I get this messages No work sent (your core client is out of date - please upgrade) how shall I do to upgrade?

Congratulations on successfully finishing and uploading your first result BT. Working on the same model for 13 months shows great commitment!

The core client refers to the BOINC program. To upgrade you\'ll need to stop BOINC and upload a new version from here. Personally speaking I\'d advise you to download 4.19 rather than 4.45 for stability reasons. Version 5.2 of BOINC should be out soon and will probably be another required upgrade, but that shouldn\'t affect you until you finish your next model.

If you choose to install 4.19 you can install directly over your existing version.

If you choose 4.45 you\'ll need to uninstall the current version first (it won\'t affect the project related files). After installing that version it\'s advisable to stop BOINC again and grab the unofficial 4.45b version from here. This provides a workaround for a problem that sometimes causes BOINC to fail to restart CPDN programs after a periodic benchmark.

Thank a lot for your help

I think you have got your Network activity \"Suspended\" (or perhaps Base on preferences but preferences are set to disallow during the hours you are trying to sent results back), so you need to see Network Activity to \"Always On\".

How about that?

The sulphur models were a short (3-4 months) project to get starting data for the Coupled Ocean models.
These new models started in February, so the full sulphur model results arn\'t needed now.
All of the important data was in the phase 1 upload, which you have successfully uploaded.

And you\'ll need to upgrade BOINC to a version 5.* to get the new models to work.
As you still have 4.19, you\'ll have to use Windows Control Panel to Uninstall your current version, before downloading the latest version.
There was a major change at about version 4.20, and if you don\'t remove the old version first, you\'ll end up with split versions, causing a lot of problems.

Shut down the model (right-click on the icon, \'exit\'), and copy the entire \\program files\\boinc folder onto your new machine.

Install a fresh copy of boinc in the same location, and once it starts you should see your model running.
