Your problem seems to be with sulphur models.
Try setting your disk size in preferences in your account to about 800-900Megs, then do an update in BOINC.
This should give you a slab model.

Is this still doesn\'t work, try going back to BOINC version 4.19

its only this time, that it seems to be overcommitted. the other times it was an error after about 5%.
i did change the disk size to 1GB, ( i´ve 80 GB ) Isn´t it right, that it runs on the best preferences for my pc all alone? i thought, because of the benchmarks.
now the boinc manager says that it uses 184,50 MB diskspace. before it was always about 80 GB. both are not normal, or?
Is this alright:
>>27.09.2005 11:01:57|climateprediction.net|General preferences have been updated
27.09.2005 11:01:57||General prefs: from climateprediction.net (last modified 2005-09-27 10:38:47)
27.09.2005 11:01:57||General prefs: no separate prefs for home; using your defaults>>

it was the same on version 4.19, so i changed to classic model run. it worked. now i´m on xp, and they said i should run the boinc version....

thanks for helping me,

Hi,

I\'ve also got this problem. The sulphur model on my WinXP box always crashes when I start listening to streaming audio using the RealPlayer plugin for Firefox.

This didn\'t seem to happen before I switched to the sulphur cycle, so I\'m trying to switch back following soho\'s suggestions. I\'ll keep you posted.

A couple of recent examples for you:

Cheers

i changed the disk space now to 1 GB. so what can i do to not run a sulphur cycle? why didn´t it run with the best preferences for my pc all alone? is it normal that it now uses 193,12 MB of my 80 GB disk-space?
thanks and bye, soho

I changed mine to Disk and memory usage to \"Use no more than 0.9 GB disk space\", forced an update from the BOINC client, then crashed the model. (Easy - just start RealPlayer!).

When it re-started, it downloaded a non-sulphur model (just after midnight, as I\'d already used up my quote of model crashes for the day).

Cheers,

Tim
