LES, AND OTHERS:
Would a proper procedure be to "Suspend" BOINC until things settle down?
I have done this twice when approaching completion of a phase, to enssure that everything flies later.
Rather than lose work?

Ony if the model hasn't finished. Then it would be one way of preventing a loss of work.
BOINC has some sort of time limit mechanism, so that once it HAS finished, this completion time/date gets compared to current time/date.
I'm going to ask questions about it when the OU servers are back up.

edit
Accidently clicked on the OU link, and it's working again!
