The server is down from sept 2nd to sept 5th. It was announced in the project news page about 1 month ago. ----------------------------------------------- Boinc Wiki L'Alliance Francophone |

Well, I have the same problem like you Myster65 with one of my computers. But I´m not agree with the answers from Arnaud, because in the news has been said, that this should not affect the upload of results or download of experiments. furthermore I run CP on other computers too, and they can sucessfully connect to the scheduler at the same time. Why is it so? But I will wait till tomorrow. I hope that I will connect without any error. |

Yeap, perhaps you're right svenni96, but I have also this "master filed fetch failed" message since the 3rd sept in the morning. Upload and download servers are not the same as the trickle servers, this is why upload and download are not affected by the Oxford outage. Tomorrow is another day... ----------------------------------------------- Boinc Wiki L'Alliance Francophone |

If one of the Oxford servers fails during the weekend, then everyone has to wait until the working week starts again, and the Uni's computer people show up. The cp project people do not have access to the rooms containing the servers. |
