How to do this best without deinstalling ?
Which files are to update after a move ?
BOINC runs as a service.

Regards, Frank

It's safest to uninstall from C: (this will NOT remove any data files or account files), then copy the remaining BOINC folder to D:, then reinstall BOINC ensuring you install to the directory you copied over. There may be another way, but it is no doubt prone to errors.

Boinc must be uninstalled to clean out the Windoze Registry. Then, move the folder to D: and re-install, taking care to be sure the Path is correct when using the installer. Re-installation should make the proper Registry entries and it should run okay from there. (Be sure the Desktop hot-link icon points to the right place.)
