I am not using any special plugin -- just right clicking on the project\'s WORK window, and clicking \"Show Graphics\". I am using BOINC 4.19.

Everything is working OK -- but I was wondering:

How do we know if we are looking at summer, or winter? In Texas, 15 c. would be a great temp. for January, but not for July! That is why I would like to know what season I\'m looking at.

Can you see the text at the bottom which should tell you which .5 hour timestep day month and year as well as which phase etc. ?

Yes I see that -- I feel kind of stupid for not figuring that one out -- I just remember it used to say "1830" and I thought, "How can we estimate weather in the past? Shouldn't we start from where we are today" and figured it might have meant something else.

Right now it's at 2060.

The years are not meant to be realistic in this experiment - or only in very general terms. ie The first 2 phases are just meant to be a pre-industrial climate. We are not trying to model specifics eg 1816 which was a very unusual year. Phase 3 is a doubled CO2. This is more about learning about what the model does and does not do. Experiment 2 will move on to more realism and meaningful dates: It will try to do a hindcast of 1950 to 2000. Only when we have found what models do well at the hindcast, is it worth moving on to try to predict the future.
