I notified Neil earlier this morning just in case he wasn't already aware.

Is there a server-status page, like the one for seti@home?

AndyK
The only server-status is the one on BOINCstats.
It has been suggested many times that this should be on the front page of this site.
However, during the hacker attack earlier this year, this page was also down, as it is on the KMI server at The Open Uni, (which was the one attacked), not at Oxford Uni, which is where the trickle server is housed.

If there was to be a status message, it would have to include something along the lines of:
If you can't read this message, then this server is not working. :)

In my case when switching to CC 4.45 it removed (truly the host did it!!) the old unit that was in analysis and requested a new one, which was received and has been working up to a 6.51% but no credits have been granted.

18/06/2005 8:58:25|climateprediction.net|Pausing result 40zl_100209789_1 (removed from memory)
The last unit reported in my results page, continues to show the old unit, but no new points.

Will this last long??

I don't know how long it will last.

However, have you considered setting the preference 'Keep in memory while suspended' to yes. With no you could have to recalculate up to 143 timesteps every time CP is suspended. If the memory is needed it will be swapped out to hard disk and this will take far less time than crunching a few timesteps.

If I just knew where to see that I could probably do it, but I do not know where to look for it. Anyway I will just let things go its way and see what happens.
Thanks.

I have done everything that has been recommended, to see if the program or the project server, recognizes that I have a new unit which is totally different from what it shows in my account page for the trickles sent in.

I have 52 hours of work or roughly a 7.66% advance on a unit which is not shown on my trickles report page. I did correct what was suggested in my preferences, but in spite of everything it just does not seem to make any difference at all.

I will let it continue as is now for the rest of this week, if by the end of it there are no results shown I will separate from the project. There is no need to have time taken from other projects which are working fine, to be in one that does not modify results and just keeps taking time from the others.

It is a pity but that's it.
