I have come to format my computer, and noticed that BOINC is occupying 2gb of hard drive space, most of which is contained in several folders within the /projects/ directory. To me, it looks like it has retained all the information from previous runs that I have completed. I have a folder with my current run, and then several older folders, which each contain a set of 360 zipped .nc files.

If these folders with 300mb of zips are from old projects, why doesn't BOINC delete this info once it has been submitted to the server? Would I cause myself (or the project) any harm if I deleted them myself to save a bit of space?

Thanks for any assistance :)
