Hello,

based on the long thread on unifying the CPID:
http://climateapps2.oucs.ox.ac.uk/cpdnboinc/forum_thread.php?id=1903

I believe the CPIDs for Seti and CPDN have been synchronized. (The settings migrate from one project to the other alright.)

I have one PC with CPDN and Seti, the other ones run CPDN only. I now realize that running CPDN on that old, slow machine just does not work out as it will never finish the WU before the deadline.

Will the projects stay linked even when I detach from CPDN on that machine?

Thanks!

Friedrich
I love CPDN, but I have only Windows clients.

Once they're in sync, they'll only get out if you change your email address, which will change your cpid.

If you have to do this, change it on CPDN first, wait until the new cpid shows up for CPDN, and then change SETI to the new email address.

If this doesn't work, put SETI on one of the CPDN computers long enough to change it's cpid.
