Looks like you're trying phpBB code on this forum, where only some html tags work. Or does the above coding work on more advanced versions of the BOINC forums like Seti's?

It depends much on the BOINC version what it accepts, from the current BOINC PHP sources it should accept something like BBCode but this version seems not to accept all codes yet.

Otoh. it accepts some HTML codes here that didn't work in the fora of other projects (anymore?).
