Odd but normal for CPDN. Credit is granted at a fixed rate per trickle on CPDN. Often when a workunit is returned the normal BOINC validator will grant some credit in addition to the trickle credit. This will be corrected by a script that runs about every 4 hours.

This also means that the RAC cannot be trusted on CPDN. The correction only applies to the total credit not the RAC.

<b>[rant mode on]</b>
Another weekend near, so a whole week has passed without anyone of the Admins bothering about the whereabouts of their project.

Obviously there is no interest in the project at all on their side.

That's a pity, as I would like it to be continued, but why are they not just saying that they want to dump it? A notice on the homepage: "Sorry, were fed up, we'll close it, don't expect any more input from us, we're just out" would be at least polite.

I'm at least fed up with this negligence. They don't want me? So bugger off!
<b>[rant mode off]</b>

Phew, that had to be said ;)
Anyone any news?

Yes.

it is fixed and updates are being posted.

As far as I know there is only a couple of people working on this project for support. So, they have to become aware that a problem exists, figure out why, create and test a fix, and then move on ...

Heck, I don't have much of a site and it is hard for me to keep up with what little I have and the site is getting nowhere near the same activity a project does ...
