I want to switch completely over to CPDN, I would like to know how do I flush all things related to setiboinc, I have setiboinc in it's own directory with client 3.20. I have CPDN in it's directory with client 4.02. I want to clean out setiboinc including the gui so I can get the gui running with CPDN, in my previous post regarding the gui and CPDN, could not get any running status etc... Is it just a matter of deleting the setiboinc directory? Specs: Linux Fedora core 1 Intel celeron 1.7GHz Swap set to 500MB |

I wouldn't do that. That will most probably delete your current workunit & status. (errm, in a Windows environment set up like that, it will... I know, I tried ;)) /me trips away leaving it to the Linux gurus. :D -------------------- Jordâ„¢ <img src="http://boinc.mundayweb.com/cpdn/stats.php?userID=2&trans=off"> |

You should be able to just delete the entire directory with the 3.x client. The GUI won't work at the moment for 4.x because the RPC stuff doesn't seem to work. If you just want to remove seti from the 3.x client without deleting the entire client, just use the "-detach_project [setiurl]" paramater when starting the boinc 3.x client. |
