No, at this moment Seti isn't running on the 4.0x client yet. You'll have to wait for Seti to make the change over to this version.

Seti has not yet updated their project to use BOINC 4.xx, and CP cannot use BOINC 3.xx. So, for now you will have to choose one project or the other, until the SETI project upgrades to the new client version.

Predictor plan to move the server to the new version at the beginning of September once the CASP deadlines will be over.

I don't know for SETI (but let them fix their mess [oups, servers] first ...)

Seti is planning to move to version 4 today. I really look forward to it

http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/

I signed up for climatepredicition yesterday, but as SETI does not yet work with version 4, (v.3.20 is the current one) I am sticking with it till it does, as I have been a member of SETI since 2001.
I have also noticed that climate WUs are quite chunky, while SETI WUs are about 353kb and can be processed in just over 5 hoours with a P4 at 1.8 GHz.

i think seti will be behind schedule since its 11:00 eastern time zone. plus they might want to stop sending wus for a bit to get results in like prfedictor at home is
seti also had to work more since they made a bigger jump 3.20 to 4.02.
predictor was running 3.22 for the last few months

Seti should be updating to v4.05 today (Friday) so both can then be run on the one shell.

The "latest" from SETI .. "August 28, 2004 - The migration plan has been reschedule for tomorrow the 29th at 10am PDT."

http://setiweb.ssl.berkeley.edu/

I guess we'll have to "pick one project" to run for one more day!

Seti is up and running on v4.05 (the site is down for maintenance at this moment) so both Seti and CPDN should function normally.

I've been running them both fine since SETI went to 4.05 last night (of course my resource split is 90% CPDN/10% SETI :-)
